OnePlus 5T How to Insert SIM Card (Dual SIM)
When they put my IMEI from the OP3 into the network no information about sim slots in oneplus 3 phone came up along with the aforementioned LTE issuesso they tried putting in my OPO IMEI, and I am still having the same LTE issues.
At this point the store was having a backup of customers, so they kicked me out and suggested I look at forums.
I looked, and people said sim slots in oneplus 3 call technical support so I did.
They checked their IMEI database, said it should work, and they made me check my APN for nxtgenphone, it didn't work.
If you guys have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it, I'd hate to have to return the phone because it won't work on my network.
I found a post on XDA which suggested I switch from SIM slot 1 to SIM slot 2, I did that, and now I hav e LTE!
Hope this helps anyone else with the issue.
Since you gave them the model number you'll only receive the band's that your phone is approved for.
If you request they update the IMEI to a device that is LTE approved, then move the sim back to the OP3, you'll get LTE.
Some sim slots in oneplus 3 will confirm this, and give you more data on how to go about this.
Look over at XDA forums too.
Just wanted to share what happened to me, see if I can be of help.
So, I am from Spain.
Recently moved to USA.
I wanted a dual SIM smartphone so that I can have both my spanish carrier Sim slots in oneplus 3 and a USA carrier SIM both active.
I went with OP3.
First, buying OP3 from their website with a USA address should give you the correct model.
This is how they made work LTE on my OP3 with their own SIM remember that my spanish carrier SIM did work on LTE out of the box.
How OP3 manages the dual SIM thing, seems to have some random bugs.
Sometimes I need to deactivate and activate the SIMs so that they register again on the network and get data signal.
If you want a OP3 I would say, know these issues, and if you still want, go for it because is a GREAT smartphone.
You can always switch to T-Mobile I do not know how it would work there, If somebody could help here would be great.
Looks to me like they screwed it up.
It may also take time for it to update sim slots video tell your device that is allowed to use LTE, otherwise you may want to go back or to a different store.
I have my imei registered for my nexus 5 and I chopped my SIM card to nano with LTE working perfectly fine.
Also note maybe what happened with your APN configurations is causing the issue, factory reset may help on resetting it?
My APN didn't require reconfigurations.
Yeah, I just did a factory reset and Sim slots in oneplus 3 still stuck on HSPA+.
I figure I'll give it a few days to sort itself out, and then if that doesn't work I suppose I can switch over to T-Mobile, I haven't heard about any of their devices having issues with LTE.
Thanks for you advice, I really appreciate it.
NP glad that switching SIM card slots fixed it.
I tested my SIM in both slots and both had LTE, looks like the bug may be more than sim slots in oneplus 3 what slot the card is in.
Hopefully someone can figure the https://promocode-jackpot-list.site/sims-257/sim-games-online-for-free-no-download-9770.html problem out.
It probably has to do with the fact that each card slot has it's own IMEI.
Slot 1's IMEI may have been "dirtied" after ATT tried to register it and slot 2 was unmolested.
I was also told that the phone may not be able to connect to 4G LTE but, according to the person I was talking to, he said the difference in speed between 4G and 4G LTE is small.
And from using my phone with WiFi off, he seems to be right.
Tried all kinds of stuff.
If you only have one sim card, try sim slot 2, immediate LTE for me!
It does this with my Nexus 5X.
I have had all these same issues.
I don't have a 2nd sim port though so I'm not sure what to do.
Could someone give me some insight on how I will know that I'm purchasing the correct model oneplus 3 from their website?
That being said, I ordered one from there and received a device that only works properly on LTE while using SIM 2.
Would you look at that - OnePlus has done it again, introducing the world to another fantastic phone that somehow manages to beat the big-brand competition on specs, but still cost a whole lot less. The OnePlus 5 is an excellent bit of kit, which improves on last year's OnePlus 3 in so many ways.
I am sorry, that I interrupt you, but I suggest to go another by.
Till what time?
It is remarkable, it is very valuable answer
